I checked the master track to make sure it wasn't muted and it's not.the meters would still be showing if that were the only issue anyway.

I even turned off all notification sounds because I read that they can cause conflicts and that did nothing. Something must be defaulting to an incorrect setting but it's not in the audio device settings. Everything works until shut it off and restart the next day.
