That's the maddening thing, it's not an easy to resolve global problem. Apparently the problem is within Reaper itself because I still have audio to my speakers through my interface when I listen to stuff on Youtube. I checked the master track to make sure it wasn't muted and it's not.the meters would still be showing if that were the only issue anyway.

I even turned off all notification sounds because I read that they can cause conflicts and that did nothing. Something must be defaulting to an incorrect setting but it's not in the audio device settings. Everything works until shut it off and restart the next day.

Even though I had the audio device settings right and was using the ASIO driver I downloaded, installed & selected ASIOFORALL v2 hoping that would fix the problem but it didn't. I've since moved it to a USB port on the front of the PC and that issue is resolved. I am completely new to recording and I dont have a host/DAW yet to run the. I had to unplug it and plug it back in again to get it to work. Most problems and questions are related to the usage of our drum plugin.
